Baby loki looking so empty and inexpressive in his father's arms, is one of my favorites from this chapter. It really drives home how neglected he was, and makes great contrast with such a proud, happy father. Other favorite is the panel where he jumps off the cliff - it took me a second read to understand he's replaying the same thing his mother did to him after he was born, it's almost the same image. And he does it after seeing a mother protecting her child. But what broke me was seeing him take off his bandages there, and only there - to die. The other times we see loki he's always with his eyes covered, as if he's truly ashamed of them, because he assimilated all the hateful remarks about them being demonic. The only moment he allows himself to show them is when he thinks he may die. It reminds me of people taking off their shoes before jumping - it's such a little action, but somehow it implies they are freeing themselves from their burdens, in meaningful ways.
