Following the opening of its Sailor Moon 4-D show, Demon Slayer VR train roller coaster, and Hunter x Hunter attraction, Universal Studios Japan now readies another anime-themed activation based on the popular Jujutsu Kaisen series. The Osaka-based theme park has announced two new attractions including a Real 4-D show and a ride.
For the Real 4-D theater experience, the Universal Studios Japan team has commissioned an original storyline which is described below: “It has been decided that a new Curse Technical High School campus will open here in Osaka. You have been scouted by this new school and invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. According to the principal, Mr. Kuroishi, the purpose of the school is to train students to save people from harmful curses, which have been increasing in frequency in recent years.” The opening festivities are interrupted by supernatural forces, and main protagonist Yuji and his friends are pictured jumping into action. For the second part of the collaboration, the ride portion will take place at the park’s flagship roller coaster, Hollywood Dream the Ride, which will play the opening theme of the anime “Kaikai Kitan” and display other cosmetics changes. Look for the Jujutsu Kaisen the Real 4-D experience and themed roller coaster to begin on September 16. The ride is set to run until January 18 while the show is scheduled to operate until July 2 of next year. Universal Studios Japan 2 Chome-1-33 Sakurajima, Konohana Ward, Osaka, 554-0031, Japan
