At first we thought that maybe the abilities of gunko were given by imu because of the arrow (when he attacked sabo in marie geoise it was the same) but after confirming that it is gunko's devil fruit I thought there is a chance that actually is the other way around, imu has a powerful devil fruit that allow him to use the power of those who swear loyalty to him like they holy knights, that is why he wants loki to join, because he knows the way to fight joyboy, a sun god, is with loki's legendary devil fruit which is also said to be a sun god devil fruit.

I have always denied shanks would have a brother. I mean... Come on... Shanks is strong, wise and all, but it is kind of stupid having the anime go so long and then show his "Brother" when the stakes get high.

That's sanji's story 2.0: didn't like his family, and ran away. I didn't like the alternative of having himself as a god knight, but was more digestible, I guess, cause he would have luffy, someone who ate the fruit he stole and probably knew everything about, run after roger's treasure, whatever it may be, for imu, saving him all the trouble of actually eating it and be nika, or search for it himself. But then, why would he steal a heavily guarded devil fruit if he was part of the gods knight?

I love oda and one piece, no question about this. But I've never felt this disappointed in all of the story. It won't stop me from reading it, it just frustrated me. At least it seems shanks is a celestial dragon, as his sham brother is. Sham-rock is also the captain of god's knights, which means he's the strongest of them all. Will shanks live up to the stakes? Was shanks impersonating sham-rock when he attended the meeting with the gorosei, or was he the other face of the same coin, meaning each fight for the same goal but through different methods. Now we know why the gorosei said they'd attend the meeting because it was him who asked for it.

Let's see if I can be surprised yet again...
