Guys, here’s how the chronological steps seem to line up: 14 years ago: King Harald was killed (allegedly by Loki to obtain a certain fruit, which Loki supposedly ate). 13 years ago: Shanks met Luffy, and Luffy ate the Gum-Gum Fruit. 6 years ago: Shanks captured Loki at sea. 6 years ago: Shanks became a Yonkou.
We also know that Nika is deeply ingrained in the cultural imagination of the Elbaph people. I will consider the possibility that Harald had the Nika Nika.
Considering these facts, what if: The royal lineage of Elbaph was tasked with guarding the Nika Nika Fruit, awaiting the one who would inherit its will. The WG discovers that Elbaph has the fruit and sends CP9 (Who’s-Who) to retrieve it. In the ensuing events, King Harald is killed. CP9, as is their modus operandi, spins a convenient narrative: Loki killed King Harald to eat the fruit. Loki then flees to the sea, while the fruit “vanishes” (it is said tha Loki ate it, but it’s actually taken by the WG). Later, Shanks defeats Who’s-Who and secures the Nika Nika Fruit. He then travels to the East Blue, where he meets Luffy, who eats the fruit and fulfills its will. Six years ago, Shanks captures Loki, returns him to Elbaph, and establishes the kingdom as his territory. With Elbaph's immense military power under his influence, the WG begins to perceive Shanks as a significant threat, leading to him being recognized as a Yonkou.
Here’s something I’m unsure about: Were there already four emperors six years ago? If so, could Loki have previously held the position of the fourth emperor? If that’s the case, when Shanks defeats Loki, he might take his spot as a Yonkou. If that's not the case, we can consider that the fourth position as created by/for Shanks. Does this theory hold up?
