Plus, I've heard a theory that little shanks was originally planted in roger's crew as a spy for the world government. Guess that has a touch more credence now. That one was from queen's vivre card. It gave a brief timeline of queen's life, and it said that 26 years ago, he abandoned his 10-year-old son, which matches up perfectly with franky's backstory.
And I have no idea how fans were aware months ago that shanks is the son of figarland garling. Where were the clues for this stuff?
Shanks was indirectly stated to be a figarland in film red and in one of the special promotional volumes, it showed the roger pirates finding him as a baby stowed away in one of the chests that they stole from god valley.
Then we're introduced to figarland garling, who's said to be the champion of god valley, and then we see a younger version of him where he looks similar to shanks.
