Xebec being blackbeard's father doesn't come as a big surprise to me, although I do wonder then who his mother is since they don't share the same surname or wherever it comes from? I do wonder if that comes into the composition of his "Weird body". It's no wonder loki is the way he is, treated so cruelly by his mother. Environment plays a strong part in your upbringing. With luffy's invitation to join the crew, I feel like chances are higher that he'll now want to chase that comradery and would be another addition to the straw hats... Although not sure what they'd do for him to fit on sunny as stated before. Imagine rock's lineage or ability let him asexually reproduce or insert his soul/will/being into another body using the ope ope no mi or something. We have to explain so many strange factors about blackbeard that we need one hell of a strange answer. Meanwhile garp, dragon, and luffy don't even look related but blackbeard and rocks look nearly like twins. Oda didn't even need to announce they were related in this chapter, there's no questioning it. The frozen giant army + galley-la lore seems like seeds planted for something big in the future. Rocks is teach's dad, that's quite something. Doesn't tell us everything about teach yet. I'm wondering what rocks did and knew, and also how he knew. He seems to be the most knowledgeable character in terms of the secrets of this world who isn't wg-affiliated/is a straight up antagonist to them. Wonder why he isn't a captain yet.
